Holidaying in Nissan.

The village of Nissan Lez Enserune is a small, mediaeval wine-producing village. In the village centre you will find bars, several restaurants, banks, ATM. grocery store, salon, local wine outlet, bakery, post-office and chemist. Nissan has a traditional street market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning.

The glorious Mediterranean beaches are just a 15 minute drive away and the area is well served by airports at Montpellier and Beziers. Barcelona, Spain is a 3 hour drive away.

Breathtaking countryside, friendly villagers, amazing wine and fresh produce are all what you will find when holidaying in this beautiful village.
The region is imbued with the essence of its intriguing history. A short drive into the Pyrenees will lead to the legendary Rennes le Chateau. The enigmatic Knights Templar and Cathar Heretics hid their secrets here among the Greek and Roman ruins.

A location with international appeal, one finds diverse year round activities sure to entertain guests of all ages and desires. Fully catered or self-catered experiences options are offered.
Available excursions include boating, wine châteaux tours, cycling, classes for French cooking and language, scuba diving and sightseeing to the Cathar Ruins, Canal du Midi and shopping.

Our region in the Languedoc is rich and varied, which you will really enjoy exploring. You can only really get to know the region after spending some time discovering its countryside, meandering along its paths and beaches and tasting its fine wines. Its Mediterranean coast and mountainous hinterland are bathed in sunshine over 300 days a year and provide wonderful escapades for families or couples, on horseback or on foot, by bike or canoe.
