Roquebrun means paradise.

There's a little town somewhere in the South of France called Roquebrun, and since moving here 15 years ago, it's always been one of my favourite places.

I went there recently with Sander and my family, and it reminded me of all of the wonderful photos I took the last time I was there, so decided it was time to write about this place.

Roquebrun has everything you need - a beautiful river where you can swim, restaurants, a lovely town ready to be explored, and some of the best views you'll see in France.
One of the places we've been going to since we were kids, is this little restaurant called Le Lézard Bleu, right in the middle of nowhere. When we got there, planning to have lunch, we noticed that there was some sort of metal festival going on, and sadly the restaurant had been reserved exclusively for the artists.

So we went down to the river and had a bit of down time before we got too hungry. Here are some of the sights you'll see while there.

After spending a couple of hours exploring the river, we went up to our favourite restaurant: Le Petit Nice. It's a really nice little restaurant right on the side of the cliff, looking out over the river below, and it has great food, so that's basically a win win.
